Harber in 6th After Day 1 of Big Ten Championship

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State sophomore Vaughn Harber carded a 1-under 69 to lead the Buckeyes in the opening round of the Big Ten Championship at Pumpkin Ridge GC in North Plains, Ore.
Harber made three birdies and just two bogeys en route to posting one of just 10 under-par rounds on the day. He is tied for sixth heading into Saturday.
Jack Vojtko opened with a 75 while Tyler Sabo carded a 76. Freshman Giedrius Mackelis shot a 77 and fellow freshman Finely Bartlett posted a 79.
As a team, the Buckeyes shot a 17-over 297 and are in 17th place. They will start the second round at 2:10 p.m. ET off the 10th tee.
