Ohio State at the Bandon Dunes Invitational
- This season marks the first appearance of the Buckeyes at the Bandon Dunes Invitational that is in its tenth running since its inception in 2010.
The Course
- The Bandon Dunes Golf Resort features four golf courses; Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, and Old MacDonald. Bandon Dunes, the site for the tournament, was the first to be built in 1999 and designed by David McLay Kidd. The course stays true to the Scotsman designers background, featuring the iconic links-golf tenets as it is situated along the Pacific Ocean and built into the indigenous terrain. The course is completely natural and routed through the indigenous vegetation that features mounds and long grass that require mastery of both distance and direction.
Buckeye Backdrop
- Ohio State has had a few weeks off since their ninth-place finish at the Puerto Rico Classic.
- Will Grimmer carded another top-10 finish, shooting a four-under 212 (69-73-70) to finish seventh overall. He was also recently named to the United States Arnold Palmer Cup team, making him one of the top-12 players in the country.
- Caleb Ramirez shot the second-best finish to par of his career at the Puerto Rico Classic, turning in an even-par 216 (69-72-75) to finish in a tie for 23rd.
- Bandon Dunes is the first stop for the team on spring break. After they conclude play on Tuesday, the fly straight to Greensboro, Georgia to compete in the Linger Longer Invitational on Friday the 15th through the 17th.
