GREENSBORO, Georgia—Ohio State had a trio of players finish the first round under par and positioned the team in fourth place at the Linger Longer Invitational. Daniel Wetterich turned in his third round under par in the last week after shooting two-under to place him in a tie for 13th-place. Caleb Ramirez tied for his best round of the season, also carding a two-under, 70, that featured four birdies to share 13th-place. The third Buckeye under par was Kevin Stone who finished the round sharing 13th-place with Wetterich and Ramirez, turning in a two-under, 70. Will Voetsch contributed a 75 to the team and Will Grimmer a 78 to round out the starting five.
The lone individual for Ohio State was Grant Engle who finished the first day nine-over and tied for 83rd-place.
Play begins tomorrow morning at 8:30AM off the number one and ten tees of The Landing golf course.
