GREENSBORO, Georgia—Senior Caleb Ramirez fired a career low 68, carding six birdies to finish four-under for the day, and six-under par in total after two rounds at the Linger Longer Invitational to place him in fourth. Ramirez made two birdies on the front nine, traded a couple birdies and bogeys early on the back nine before birdieing his last two holes to set his career low.
The team finished the day two-over par, moving them to one-under for the tournament and into seventh-place. Fellow senior Daniel Wetterich shot his second, 70, of the tournament, moving him to four-under for the tournament and into eighth-place. The next best Buckeye, Will Voetsch, turned in a three-over, 75, to move into a tie for 57th-place at six-over in total. Kevin Stone and Will Grimmer are tied for 60th and 74th-place, respectively, with one round left to play. Grant Engle, competing as an individual, fired the third par or better round of his career with an even par, 72, to move into a tie for 70th.
The final round of the Linger Longer Invitational begins at 9:15 AM tomorrow morning.
