Why did you come to Ohio State? What made you pick the Buckeyes over other schools?
I loved being so close to home, and when you get on campus and see the resources athletes get at OSU it was a no-brainer.
What is the most memorable moment of your Ohio State career thus far?
I think it was scoring my first goal against Rutgers last year. That was a special time for me.
What does it mean to you to be a Buckeye?
Doing the right things even when no one is watching.
In your opinion, what is the biggest reason that the team has had success this season?
We are a really close team. We are willing to do the work when it seems hard to cover for someone. We have each-others backs and really rely on each other well.
You are down at the half in a big game and the team is beaten down, who of your teammates stands up and delivers the speech to hype everyone up for the second half?
I think Parker is the most vocal for us as far as leaders. He knows how to hype us up.
What does your pregame routine look like before a game? Do you have any superstitions?
I always pray when I get on the field, I make sure to be grateful for this opportunity and think about how I am going to play.
How do you keep yourself entertained on road trips?
A whole lot of Netflix.
Other than soccer, did you play any other sports growing up?
Lacrosse was the other big sport I played throughout high school.
If you had the opportunity to play one sport other than soccer at Ohio State, what would it be and why?
Lacrosse. I loved that sport growing up and was pretty good at it.
Are you a fan of international soccer? Is there a league or team that you closely follow?
Manchester City in the Premier League.
Do you follow Major League Soccer? Do you have a team you root for? How did you come to follow them?
The Crew! I am a Columbus kid so I grew up watching them.
Who is your favorite professional soccer player? Do you have a favorite professional athlete outside of soccer?
Paulo Dybala for Juventus is my favorite in the world. I also love Lebron of course too.
Do you have aspirations to play professionally?
If I have an opportunity I would love to!
Is there someone that you try to model your game after? Could be a professional, teammate, etc.
I try and play like Paulo Dybala, my favorite player.
What person and or event has had the most influence on your life? Why?
My parents. We have been through a lot and they are my best friends.
How much do you think you have learned about the game since your freshman year? What is the biggest difference that you see in yourself?
My maturity. Looking back I was young and dumb, I definitely work a lot harder now than I did.
How much has Coach Maisonneuve helped you grow and develop your game?
He instilled a lot of confidence in me. He in tough on me but knows what I am capable of. He has been awesome for me and my game.
What aspect of your game do you feel gives you an advantage over your opponents?
My ability to attack, I can score and assist well and I am left footed which is not too common.
If you could achieve anything in your sport while in college, what would it be?
Win the Big Ten, NCAA championship, and then play overseas.
How do you keep yourself fit and conditioned in the offseason?
I go to all the voluntary workouts.
What do you like to do in your free time? Are you a gamer, involved in organizations, etc.
I fly as much as I can, that is what I find the most fun to do.
How did you choose your major? Do you have any minors?
I was always interested in flying and planes. I took the first class and fell in love with it.
Do you plan on pursuing more education (i.e. graduate school) after you graduate from Ohio State?
No. I am going to fly in the military I think.
What do you plan to do with your major? Do you have a career in mind?
Fly in the military!
Is there a dream job within your field of study that you would love to have?
I want to be a fighter pilot.
If you could give one reason why fans should come out and support your team, what would it be?
We are playing some good soccer right now and any help we can get from the fans only helps us more and creates a good environment to play in!
