DAYTON, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s golf team sent three individuals to compete in the 2019 Dayton Flyer Invitational this week at the NCR Country Club in Dayton, Ohio. Juniors Sofia Seldemirova and Alanis Sakuma are currently tied for seventh place in the 84-competitor field. Both Buckeyes shot 4-over-par 74’s to open the tournament. Senior Alex Wright carded a 10-over 80 to tie for 36th after the first day of competition.

T- 7th – Sofia Seldemirova (Ind.) 74 (+4)
T- 7th – Alanis Sakuma (Ind.) 74 (+4)
T- 36th – Alex Wright (Ind.) 80 (+10)
The Buckeyes return to action Tuesday for the final 18 holes of competition with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. ET.
