Ohio State Sending Nine to NCAA Indoor Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team will send nine student-athletes to the 2016 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships March 11-12 at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala.
On the men’s side, two athletes will compete in individual events: redshirt senior J.C. Murasky in the shot put and freshman Nick Gray in the 200-meter dash. Murasky, with a season-best throw of 20.19 meters (66-3.00), is the No. 4 seed in the shot, while Gray enters the 200 as the 11 seed with a season-best time of 20.71.
Gray will also join redshirt senior Antonio Blanks, senior Champ Page and sophomore Jerry Jackson in the 4×400-meter relay, where the Buckeyes are seeded seventh with a season-best time of 3:06.38.
The women of the Scarlet and Gray will be represented by four athletes in the 4×400-meter relay, where the Buckeyes set a school indoor record of 3:32.88 this season. Senior SoSo Walker, sophomore Beatrice Hannan, senior Alexis Franklin and freshman Karrington Winters enter the race as the No. 10 seed.
ESPN3 will stream the meet live on March 11 and 12, beginning at 6:25 p.m. ET Friday and 4:55 p.m. ET Saturday. A tape delay of the championships will air Sunday, March 13 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
