Abraham Named B1G Track Athlete of the Week – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s track and field redshirt senior Ashlee Abraham has been named Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Abraham captured the gold in the 60-meter run at the Armory Collegiate Invitational this past weekend in New York. Her personal-best time of 7.29 seconds ranks her third all-time at Ohio State in the event and seventh in the nation so far this season.
Abraham also competed in the 200-meter run at the Armory, placing sixth with a time of 24.28.
It marks the second Big Ten weekly award for Abraham, who is a two-time Second Team All-American and 2013 All-Big Ten selection. It is the second Big Ten weekly award for the Buckeyes this season (Chesna Sykes- Jan. 13).
Ohio State travels to Geneva, Ohio Feb. 14-15 for the SPIRE Invite.
