Leslie Stars at the Payton Jordan Invitational – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Cory Leslie ran a personal-best time of 3:39.00 to win Section II of the 1500m Sunday evening at the Payton Jordan Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif.
In posting the second-fastest time in Ohio State history and the third-best mark in Division I this season, Leslie placed 12th overall among 73 of the top distance runners in the United States, winning his 12-person race in the process. Teammate Chris Fallon ran a personal-best time of his own (3:45.51), finishing third in the Section IV run.
Dan White took the track in the 800m, claiming third place in his heat and ninth out of 40 competitors in a season-best time of 1:49.03, while Adam Green (9:00.00) and Donny Roys (9:02.29) placed 10th and 12th, respectively, in Section III of the 3000m steeplechase.
