Danielle Meyer Honored with All-American Banner in St. John Arena – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The During the Ohio State-Xavier match this evening, former women’s volleyball player Danielle Meyer (Greaves) was honored by having her All-American banner displayed in St. John Arena.
Danielle played four years with the Buckeyes. During her career she helped her team to 90 wins and three NCAA appearances.
Danielle was a three-time All-Big Ten Selection and Academic All-Big Ten player, a four-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and was a first team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American as a senior.
She was also a Big Ten Medal of Honor finalist, a three-time Ohio State Athlete of the Week selection and honored as the Most Valuable Player of the Active Ankle Challenge and the Best Attacker at the Sports Imports Classic.
Danielle finished her career ranked second in points with 2,131.5 and third in points per game at 4.75. She was third in career kills with 1,760, fourth in kills per game at 3.93 and eighth in hitting percentage at .283. In career blocking, she was 10th in solos with 62, second in assists with 417, second in total blocks with 479 and ranks fourth in blocks per game at 1.07.
Her banner is the 13th to be displayed in St. John Arena.
