COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (8-4, 1-1 Big Ten) fell to No. 1 Nebraska (13-0, 2-0 Big Ten) in straight sets (25-19, 25-10, 25-12) on Saturday night in Lincoln.

- The score was tied 11 times early in the first set. With the score knotted 11-11, the Buckeyes went on a 3-0 run, which included a block by Bailey Nakanelua and Lauren Wiese and a kill from Naomy Govou, to take a 14-11 lead over the Cornhuskers.
- A kill from Kalli Jioshvili-Ravva brought the match to the first media timeout with Ohio State in the lead, 15-13.
- Tied once again, 16-16, Nebraska claimed the lead, 19-16, after a 3-0 scoring run.
- Two kills from Jioshvili-Ravva kept the Buckeyes within two points of the lead, 20-18, but Nebraska came away with the first set, 25-19.
- Back-to-back kills from Govou helped the Buckeyes to tie the score, 5-5, early in the second set.
- Another kill from Govou put the Buckeyes within three points of the lead, 9-6, after an Ohio State timeout, but Nebraska began to pull away, going on a 6-1 run to extend its lead, 15-7.
- Coming out of the media timeout, the Huskers went on a 7-1 run to take a 22-8 lead over the Buckeyes.

- Kills from Govou and Jioshvili-Ravva helped bring the Buckeyes within six points of the lead, 13-7.
- Two kills from Jioshvili-Ravva and an ace from Mia Stahler after the media timeout kept the Buckeyes within six points of the Huskers, 16-10.
- Ohio State was held to just two more points in the set as Nebraska took set three, 25-12.
- The Buckeyes were on a six-match winning streak entering Saturday's match. It was the Buckeyes' longest win streak since 2022, when they won 14 straight matches from Sept. 28 through Nov. 13.
- Govou and Jioshvili-Ravva led the Buckeyes in kills with eight each.
- Nakanelua had a team-high 16 assists.
- Emily Avshalomov led the Buckeyes in digs with nine.
