Ending with a Bang – Natalia Ciminello – Ohio State Buckeyes

With just one game remaining in the regular season, Ciminello reflects back on her time at Ohio State
COLUMBUS, Ohio – It is hard to believe four years have already passed and Natalia Ciminello and her fellow senior classmates have just one regular-season game remaining on the Ohio State field hockey schedule.
Ciminello, who has started in the Buckeye backfield in 58-of-70 career games, played her final game at North Turf Field Sunday and will make a final trip to Evanston, Ill., Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest vs. Northwestern.
With so much coming to an end in the 2009-10 academic year, the Columbus, Ohio, native has equally as much to look forward to as she plans to apply to nursing school at Ohio State.

Describe your time at Ohio State over the past three years:
“The past three years have gone by way too fast! My teammates have become some of my best friends and we have made so many memories. There is no way to really describe my time over the past three years but through the good and the bad I don’t regret a single moment.”
As a senior, what goals do you have set for this year?
“Win the Big Ten outright and the Big Ten Tournament in one season, as well as make the Final Four of the NCAA tournament.”
What do you see yourself doing this time next year?
“I will still be at Ohio State applying to nursing schools, but it will be weird not going to practice every day!”

My OSU roommate for 2009-10 is: Lindsay Quintiliani and Keri Houser, but Ali Ristas, Melissa Palm (aka BC) and Aisling Coyle (aka Scotty) are living right next door!
My favorite home-cooked meal: Well, I love all of my mom’s cooking but I would have to say her chicken piccata with fettucini alfredo.
Growing up, my wildest career ambition was: Probably to be an explorer of some sort

Favorite class I’ve taken at Ohio State: Biotechnology with Dr. Finer
Best part about road games: Our crazy games and scenarios we come up with on bus rides in the back of the bus
Show I always DVR: If I had DVR, probably Oprah because it is on during practice.
Top song on my MP3 player: It’s a tie between Con Te Partiro by Andrea Bocelli and Fix You by Coldplay.
I’m most proud of: My family, especially my brothers, Anthony and Kym.
