COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State student radio station’s coverage of Buckeye softball returns to the internet Sunday to call the Big Ten doubleheader between Ohio State and visiting Wisconsin. The action starts at noon from Buckeye Field and can be heard live at www.OhioStateSports.com.
Evan Winkofsky and Joey D’Amico will call the action Sunday. Listeners will need I-tunes or winamp to listen to the game. I-tunes can be downloaded free at www.apple.com.
GameTracker will also have live statistics at www.OhioStateBuckeyes.com. Any delays due to weather will also be posted on Ohio State’s softball Web site at that same location.
The Buckeyes (19-13, 2-0 Big Ten) are coming off a sweep of Minnesota Friday and Saturday, while the Badgers (16-9, 0-2 Big Ten) were swept at Penn State. Ohio State is 4-0 at home this season, but is 12-16 all-time against Wisconsin. The Buckeyes have played in Madison, Wis., the last two years and split a doubleheader with the Badgers in 2004 in Wisconsin’s last trip to Buckeye Field. The Buckeyes won 10-6 at Wisconsin last year.
