
Wilhelm, Parisien, Cruse and Molk Tabbed All-Great Lakes Region

Wilhelm, Parisien and Molk were also Big Ten honorees
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Post-season awards continue to roll in for Ohio State softball, with Abbie Wilhelm, Hadley Parisien, Taylor Cruse and Jenna Molk each named All-Great Lakes Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
Wilhelm was named 1st Team, with both Parisien and Cruse named 2nd Team and Molk earning 3rd Team recognition.
Abbie Wilhelm boasted standout season that was punctuated by 24 home runs and 50 RBI. Her home run count ranked third in the Big Ten at the end of the regular season. The sophomore bat .338 in her first season as a Buckeye, leading the squad in home runs, RBI and runs scored. Wilhelm earned 2nd Team All-Big Ten laurels as well.
Hadley Parisien shined in the 2026 campaign, finishing the season with a team-best OPS of 1.383 and a .364 batting average. Parisien clobbered 19 home runs and drove in 40 runs, trailing only Wilhelm and Cruse on the Ohio State roster in those categories. Parisien was also named 2nd Team All-Big Ten.
Taylor Cruse saw her batting average raise 36 points in her junior season, swinging .344 on the year. Cruse's 21 home runs were tied for fourth best among Big Ten hitters at the end of the regular season and are currently tied with teammate Hadley Parisien for third-most in a single season in program history. Cruse started each game of the 2026 campaign, driving in 47 runs and slugging .851%.
Jenna Molk made an impression in her freshman season, wrapping up the year with an ERA of 3.34, 138 strikeouts and 151.0 innings pitched. In each of her 16 wins, Molk allowed no more than two runs. She ranks eighth in program history for innings pitched as a freshman, behind teammate Lorin Boutte. Molk was named to the All-Big Ten Freshman team and also earned Big Ten Pitcher of the Week on March 30, following a sweep over Michigan State and a week where she held an ERA of .030.
