Postgame Notes
– Ohio State hit a total of six homeruns in four games Tuesday and Wednesday. The Buckeyes are 14-1 this season when they hit at least one homerun.
– Ohio State improves to 22-3 this season when out-hitting its opponent and 18-2 when scoring first. The Buckeyes are 22-1 when leading after five innings.
– Megan Schwab and Jamee Juarez both hit doubles Wednesday, their ninth of the season, to remain tied for the team lead in doubles.
– With her two RBI single, Chelsea Baker notched her second career multi-RBI game. In the circle, Baker has won five consecutive starts and now has 35 strikeouts, surpassing her total of 34 from a year ago.
– Ohio State leads the all-time series vs. Dayton, 10-1. The Buckeyes defeated the Flyers earlier this season in Dayton, 9-1, March 6.
