– In 33.1 innings pitched this season, Chelsea Baker has allowed only one earned run for a 0.21 ERA. Offensively, her single in the second inning extended her current hitting streak to six consecutive games.
– Ohio State improves to 16-0 all-time in the Buckeye Invitational, which is in its fourth year.
– The Buckeyes have won 12 of their last 15 games and improve to 12-3 this season against unranked teams.
– Ohio State leads the all-time series vs. Northern Illinois, 6-2. These two teams had last met during the 2001 season.
