Ohio State Softball Player Jenn Link Named Third Team All-Big Ten – Ohio State Buckeyes

Ohio State softball player Jenn Link (Sr., Yorba Linda, Calif.) was named a third-team All- Big Ten selection, the Big Ten Conference announced tonight. Link, who missed a series of 11 games in the middle of the season, started in 38-of-46 games she participated in and owns a .293 batting average, the second highest on the team. Link stole a team-best 12-of-13 bases, tallied 36 hits, 24 runs, five doubles, three triples and garnered a .940 fielding percentage. Link is a member of the 2003 senior class, which is the winningest class in Buckeye history with a total 154 career victories.
Link is a third-team All-American, a four-time All-Big Ten selection and a 2002 first-team All-Great Lakes Region selection. The 2000 Defensive Player of the Year, the 2001 Offensive Player of the Year and the 2002 Coaches’ Award winner, Link ranks second with 68 career stolen bases, second with 142 total runs scored, third with 226 hits and fifth with 228 games played among Buckeye record holders.
