Tuesday Softball Doubleheader Against Dayton Cancelled – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Tuesday March 11 softball doubleheader with Dayton has been cancelled because of freezing conditions, forcing No. 18 Ohio State (10-6) to postpone its home opener. The doubleheader will be rescheduled at a later date.
Inclement temperatures and frozen field conditions have made Buckeye Field unsuitable for play at this time according to Ohio State head coach Linda Kalafatis.
The Buckeyes will open at home this weekend as they play host to the Buckeye Invitational with Morehead State and Oakland Saturday and Sunday, March 15-16 at Buckeye Field.
