The following day, in an 8-0 win over Eastern Michigan Chain came in to relieve Wendy Allen and allowed one hit and struck out two in 2.2 innings of work. In a 5-0 win over Illinois, Chain allowed two hits while striking out five. Chain is now 13-5 on the season.
