Chenevey Named to the GTE Academic All-District IV Softball Second Team – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State catcher Jaime Chenevey (Sr., Wooster, Ohio) was named to the 1999 GTE Academic All-District IV University Division Softball Second Team. The senior will graduate in June with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education.
%^$”Jaime has always taken great pride in her academics,” head coach Linda Kalafatis said. “This is an honor she has definitely worked hard for and is more than deserving of.
%^$The District IV team is made up of student-athletes from Division I schools in Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. To be nominated, student-athlete must carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher. The team members are selected by a vote of members of the college Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) within the district. The GTE Academic All-District Team is part of the GTE Academic All-America program.
