Softball Splits at Northwestern – Ohio State Buckeyes

Evanston, Ill. – Ohio State (33-22, 10-13 Big Ten) gained a split at Northwestern (33-17, 14-9) Saturday with a 4-3 win over the Wildcats. The Buckeyes dropped the first game 4-0 to Northwestern.
%^$Ohio State was held to three hits in the game one loss. Wildcat Jaclyn DeBoard pitched six innings giving up only one hit for the win. Buckeye Jodi Dolan (12-7) was tagged for seven hits in five innings, taking the loss.
%^$Ohio State held 1-0 and 2-1 leads in game two but Northwestern tied the game twice before a bases loaded walk to Holly English plated Jaime Chenevey for the winning run in the sixth inning. Buckeye Kristi Martin earned the win for OSU, making her record 9-5.
%^$The teams play the third game of the series Sunday at 1 p.m.
