Located just north of the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on Olentangy River Road, Buckeye Varsity Field is the home of the Ohio State field hockey program.
Locker rooms for Ohio State, as well as a full service athletic training room, are located at the adjacent Biggs Athletic Facility. Visitor locker rooms are usually at Buckeye Field, home of the Ohio State softball team.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From the North – Take I-71 South to 270 West to SR 315 South. Take the Ackerman Road exit. Turn left on to Ackerman Road. Follow Ackerman Road to Olentangy River Road. Turn right on to Olentangy River Road. Make a right at the first light. Buckeye Varsity Field is north of the tennis courts.
From the South – Take I-71 North to SR 315 North to Worthington. Take the Ackerman Road exit. Turn right on to Ackerman Road. Follow Ackerman Road to Olentangy River Road. Turn right on to Olentangy River Road. Make a right at the first light. Buckeye Varsity Field is north of the tennis courts.
From the East (Airport) – Take I-70 West to SR 315 North to Worthington. Take the Ackerman Road exit. Turn right on to Ackerman Road. Follow Ackerman Road to Olentangy River Road. Turn right on to Olentangy River Road. Make a right at the first light. Buckeye Varsity Field is north of the tennis courts.
From the West – Take I-70 East to SR 315 North to Worthington. Take the Ackerman Road exit. Follow Ackerman Road to Olentangy River Road. Turn right on to Olentangy River Road. Make a right at the first light. Buckeye Varsity Field is north of the tennis courts.
PARKING DIRECTIONS
Field hockey fans are encouraged to park in the Scarlet Lots (Nos. 3, 4, 5) at the Jack Nicklaus Museum, south of the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Limited parking also may be available at Biggs Athletic Facility, the building adjacent to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, in the lots near Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
