As a freshman (2016): Competed in the 2016 Big Ten Championships, swimming in three events: 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 200 IM, finishing in the top-25 of both freestyle events … won the 100 freestyle (51.47) in the dual meet against Michigan State, her first career event win … earned six top-three finishes during her freshman campaign.
Background: Competed for The Bolles Schoo in for four years, winning a state championship her senior season… earned All-American honors in 2015 for her performances in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays… two-time Academic All-American… three-time All-First Coast Team honoree… her greatest sports thrill was anchoring the 400 free relay at the 2014 Speedo Summer Junior National Championships, placing fourth… daughter of Matthew and Sara DiPaolo… her mother swam and played water polo while attending Bucknell University, where she was an All-American.
