Ramos Secures First Team All-American Status in 100 Breast

COLUMBUS, Ohio – On the second night of the NCAA Championships on Thursday, Ohio State's Maria Ramos earned her first career First Team All-American honors.
Ramos placed sixth in the 100 breast, finishing in 57.99 to secure First Team All-American status.
Lena Hentschel placed 16th in the one-meter dive to earn Honorable Mention All-American honors. She had an aggregate score of 267.50.
The Buckeyes placed 20th in the 200 free relay. The relay team of Carrie Furbee, Rachel Bockrath, Erin Little and KK LeBlanc finished in 1:28.93.
In prelims, Sienna Angove finished 17th in the 200 free with a time of 1:43.56, just narrowly missing Honorable Mention All-American honors.
After two days of competition, the No. 11 Buckeyes are in 11th place with 53 points.
The NCAA Championships continue March 20-21. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. each day, and finals will begin at 6 p.m. All sessions will stream live on ESPN+.
