2015 (Sophomore Season): Made his Buckeye debut versus Limestone (1/16) … earned MIVA Academic All-Conference and OSU Scholar-Athlete honors.
2014 (Freshman Season; at Pacific): Played in 20 matches and 47 sets for the Tigers … totaled 35 kills, 33 digs, 20 blocks (1s, 19a) and three aces on the season … put away five kills in a pair of three-set matches at UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 17) and California Baptist (Jan. 23) … season-high six digs also came against California Baptist (2.00/set) … racked up eight points versus BYU (Feb. 14), bouncing four kills, two aces and getting in on four block assists.
Prior to Pacific: Two-time First Team All-League selection at Amador Valley High School … named MVP as a senior … also earned Second Team All-East Bay Athletic League honors as a sophomore for coach Aaron Harper’s Dons.
Personal: Son of Tom and Joan Genn … has two older brothers, Sean and Mike … a marketing major.
