Aaron Capocci is in his first year as the director of operations for the men's volleyball and field hockey teams. He was hired in the summer of 2025.Â
In his current role, he is responsibile for planning and executing all team travel, logistics and serving as the team contact between the programs and the athletics department in an administrative capacity.Â
Previously, Capocci worked as a student in the athletics department from 2022 through his graduation in 2025. He graduated with a degree in sport management with a minor in communications.
During his tenure as a student, Capocci worked as a manager with women's lacrosse (3 yrs.), interned with event management (3 yrs.) while also working in the areas of camps and clinics, audio/visual services and baseball (manager for one year). As a manager with women's basketball in 2024, he worked with the Ohio State Big Ten Championship squad.Â
A native of Canton, Ohio, Capocci played both basketball and golf at GlenOak High School.
