As A Freshman (2018)
- Made first appearance as a Buckeye against Nebraska; tied for fourth on vault with a score of 14.300, a season-best, and scored a 12.250 on floor.

- Competed on floor and vault against Penn State.
- Finished eighth on vault with a score of 13.950 against No. 1 Oklahoma.
Prior to Ohio State
- Competed with Lakeshore Gymnastics from 2002-2017 under Nick Auxter.
- Won three straight floor state titles from 2015-17.
- Competed at the 2016 J.O. Nationals.
Personal
- Son of Carol and Matthew Gricar.
- Has two sisters (Cassie and Alexis).
- Also competed for Benedictine High School track and field program (pole vault/300m hurdles).
- Chose Ohio State because of the strong business connections and strong athletic programs.
- Has dreams of working for Disney/Pixar one day.
