2016 (Senior Season): Scored a personal-best 13.950 on pommel horse against Penn State (Feb. 13) … competed on pommel horse and high bar at the Cal/Stanford tri meet (Jan. 24) … performed on pommel horse, parallel bars and high bar at the Windy City Invitational (Jan. 17).
2015 (Junior Season): Featured on pommel horse at the NCAA qualifier (April 9) … competed on pommel horse at the Big Ten team finals (March 27) … competed on pommel horse and high bar against Oklahoma (March 14) … represented OSU on high bar at the Arnold Challenge (March 7) … tied for third on high bar against Penn State Feb. 6); also featured on parallel bars and pommel horse … competed in three events against Oklahoma and Iowa (Feb. 1) competed on pommel horse and high bar against Illinois (Jan. 24)…competed on pommel horse, parallel bars and earned a fourth-place finish on high bar with a personal-best score of 14.800 at the Windy City Invitational (Jan. 17).
2014 (Sophomore Season): Did not compete for the Buckeyes.
2013 (Freshman Season): Competed against Illinois (Feb. 23) before suffering season-ending injury … scored a 12.450 on pommel horse and a 13.550 on high bar.
Prior to Ohio State: Trained and competed at the Ohio Gymnastics Institute under coach Ron Ferris … two-time Junior Olympics National Qualifier … finished in first place in the all-around at the AAU Nationals (2011) … finished in second place on high bar at the BlackJack Men’s Championship (2011) … two-time Academic All-American.
Personal: Son of Lee and Joy Yeager … has five siblings, David, Amanda, Dianna, Joshua and Kristen … plans to work in the field of nuclear energy after completion of undergraduate studies … hobbies include playing trumpet, collecting and working on cars and paintball … lists greatest sports thrill as becoming a member of the Ohio State gymnastics team.
