
David Ramirez Qualifies for Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships

Ramirez finished fifth in the all-around at the USA Qualifiers and was among the top 10 finishers on four events.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State rising junior David Ramirez qualified to compete in the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships based on his performance at the USA Qualifiers this past weekend. He finished in a tie for fourth among individual points as he finished in the top 10 in four different events. Full results can be found HERE. Â

Ramirez finished fifth in the all-around competition with a score of 76.750. His pommel horse score (13.800) was the second-highest of the competition, trailing only 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Stephen Nedoroscik. Ramirez also finished in the top 10 of the competition on parallel bars (13.400, fifth), rings (12.700, ninth) and vault (13.700, 10th). His floor (12.600) and high bar (10.550) scores rounded out his showing.

Ramirez is slated to compete at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships in Phoenix, Ariz. from August 6 through August 9. This meet will determine the roster for the Artistic World Championships.
