2016 (Sophomore Season): Represented Ohio State on rings at the NCAA championships (April 16) and NCAA Qualifier (April 15) … finished tied for 11th on rings at the Big Ten championships (April 1) … notched a second-place finish on rings and earned fifth place on pommel horse in a tri-meet with William and Mary and Temple (March 20) … posted a personal-best score of 15.400 on rings to earn a third-place finish in a tri-meet with Oklahoma-Air Force (March 7) … fourth place on rings at the Arnold Challenge (March 1) … scored personal-bests on rings (third, 15.050) and vault (fourth, 14.750) against Penn State (Feb. 13) … finished seventh on rings in a dual meet against Michigan (Jan. 30) … earned a third-place finish on rings with a personal-best score of 15.050 at the Cal/Stanford tri meet; also competed on pommel horse … competed on pommel horse and rings at the Windy City Invitational (Jan. 17) … Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete.
2015 (Freshman Season): Represented the Buckeyes on pommel horse and rings at the NCAA qualifier (April 9) … led Ohio State on pommel horse at the Big Ten team finals; also featured on rings … competed on rings and pommel against Oklahoma (March 14) … finished fifth on pommel horse and seventh on rings at the Arnold Classic Challenge (March 7) … competed on pommel horse, taking fifth with a personal-best 14.500, and placed fourth on rings against Michigan (Feb. 28) … fourth on pommel at Penn State (Feb. 6); also competed on rings … featured on pommel horse and rings against Oklahoma and Iowa … competed on pommel horse and rings (PB of 14.900) against Illinois (Jan. 24) and at the Windy City Invitational (Jan. 17) … Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State and CGA Scholar-Athlete.

Personal: Son of Dan and Susan Teaney … has a younger sister, Caitlyn … after graduation, hopes to become an ER nurse and continue his education to become a doctor … favorite pastimes include surfing … in high school, he volunteered at a local animal shelter and was a member of the diving team … lists his greatest sports thrill as being in the air during a flip and experiencing a moment of weightlessness.
