2015-16 (Senior Season): Named All-America Honorable Mention and All-Midwest Region by the Golf Coaches Association of America … tied for 30th nationally as an individual in the NCAA Championships (May 27-29), carding rounds of 71-70-73 (+4) … advanced to the national championship by winning the NCAA Kohler Regional (May 16-18) medalist honors, the first Buckeye in school history to do so in an NCAA Regional … captured individual crown in the Lone Star Invitational as well, shooting 5-under (211) for the event … paced the team with a season stroke average of 73.16, playing a team-high 38 rounds … racked up five rounds in the 60’s and a total of 19 scores at or under par … notched a Top-10 finish in the Inverness Intercollegiate (Sept. 21-22) … put forth Top-25 efforts seven times overall, including a T-20th performance in the Big Ten Championships (Apr. 22-24) … ranked first or second in the OSU lineup in each of the final five team events.
2014-15 (Junior Season): Ranked second on the team with a season stroke average of 73.65 in 31 rounds played; providing 25 scores to the team tally … paced the Buckeyes and placed top-10 overall at both the Jack Nicklaus Invitational (Sept. 28-29) and Lone Star Invitational (Mar. 23-24) … pushed Ohio State to the Jack Nicklaus Invitational team title by tying for third individually (70-71-72) … grabbed a share of seventh place in the Lone Star Invitational following scores of 72-67-71 … also contributed to Ohio State’s second-place finish in the Windon Memorial Classic (Sept. 21-22) posting 71-70 in the final two rounds … won two of three individual matches at the Big Ten Match Play Championship (Feb. 15-16) … totaled 10 rounds at or under par on the season.
2013-14 (Sophomore Season): One of two Buckeyes to play in all 36 rounds … averaged 73.92 strokes per round while contributing 32 scores to the team tally … compiled eight rounds under par, including a season-best 67 en route to a tie for sixth in the Seahawk Intercollegiate (Mar. 16-17) … earned a share of 7th place at the Big Ten Championships with a four-round total of 299 (75-71-78-65, +11) … performed well in the conference’s Match Play Championships (Feb. 14-16) as well, going 2-1-1 individually in the event … notched another pair of top-20 showings in the Jack Nicklaus Invitational (Sept. 29-30) and Windon Memorial (Sept. 22-23), placing T-11th and T-19th, respectively, carding a 218 in consecutive weeks … finished in the top-3 amongst Buckeyes in nine of 12 events while pacing the team thrice, including a T-41st effort in the NCAA Columbia Regional (74-75-71–220, +4).
2012-13 (Freshman Season): Saw action in all 12 tournaments for the Buckeyes, having 20 of 32 rounds counted towards team score … notched a 75.31 stroke average … three finishes in the top 20 … carded a season-low 210 (68-72-70) and a fourth-place finish at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate (Sept. 15-16) … came in tied for 17th at the Windon Memorial (Sept. 23-24) with a 223 (79-73-71) … tied for 12th at the Northwestern Spring Invitational (April 15-16) with a 221 (76-74-71) … top Buckeye at both the Jack Nicklaus Invitational (Oct. 8-9) and the Gary Koch Invitational (April 8-9).
Prior to Ohio State: A four-time Du Page Valley All-Conference selection… named the conference’s Co-Player of the Year in 2011 after medaling at the league tournament… was a three-time state qualifier… named his team’s captain in 2011… the 2008 Illinois Golf Association’s Player of the Year… a member of the MAJGT All-Midwest team in 2010… placed 10th at the 2011 AJGA Golf Pride Junior Classic in Forest Creek, N.C…. carded a 1-under 212 at the Illinois PGA Golf Tournament where he finished in a tie for eighth… finished in a tie for second at the AJGA Midwest Junior Players… earned his first AJGA victory on Scarlet at the Columbus Junior in 2011… four-time letterwinner in golf… also earned a varsity letter in tennis.
Personal: Son of Tim and Blue (Kinander) Kelly… first name is Timothy but he goes by Tee-K … has a younger brother, Will… his mother, Blue, was a member of a University of Tulsa golf squad (1986-1990) that captured a NCAA championship in 1988 … majoring in communication.
