- Played every game (38) for Ohio State during her fifth-year
- Tallied the second most (30) assists on the team and added 16 goals for 46 points
- Scored the game-winning goal in the double overtime win over Quinnipiac (March 12) to send the Buckeyes to the Frozen Four
- Recorded the second goal of Ohio State’s 3-2 national championship win over Minnesota Duluth (March 20)
- Registered two points on a goal and an assist in her Buckeye debut against St. Thomas (Sept. 24)
Prior to Ohio State
- Played four seasons at Bemidji State, skating in 128 games and recording 79 points (28 goals, 51 assists)
- Finished tied for 10th on BSU’s career assists list with 51 and tied for 12th in career points.
- Three-time WCHA Scholar-Athlete, WCHA All-Academic Team honoree and AHCO All-American Scholar
- Played prep hockey at Shattuck St. Mary’s where she helped guide the team to four consecutive national championships.
- Member of the 2016 U.S. Women’s Under-18 Select Team at the Under-18 Series versus Canada
- Participated in USA Hockey’s 2016 Women’s National Festival
- Attended the 2016 Girls Select U18 Player Development Camp
- Won gold with the U18 Women’s National Team in 2017
Personal
- Daughter of John and Lynn DeGeorge
- Has two sisters, Tara and Leah
- Her mother, Lynn, was an All-American swimmer at Indiana University while her sister, Tara, swam at Air Force and Leah swims for Florida
- Future aspirations include continuing to play hockey professionally and working towards becoming a neonatal ICU nurse practitioner or nurse anesthetist
- Hobbies include hiking, hanging out with friends, yoga and cooking
- Favorite athlete: Katie Ledecky
- Favorite team: LA Kings
- Earned her nursing degree from Bemidji State and is currently pursuing her masters in bioethics.
