Ohio State, Wisconsin to Meet at Lambeau Field

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's hockey team is headed to the Frozen Tundra.
The Buckeyes will play Wisconsin February 20, 2027, outdoors at Lambeau Field in the Travel Wisconsin Frozen Tundra Faceoff in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The event will also feature a men's game between Wisconsin and Michigan following the women's game, with a game ticket granting access to both matchups. Game times and broadcast designations will be announced at a later date.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, September 9th, with general on-sale taking place on Friday, September 11th. Fans can register for pre-sale at this link here.
Ohio State and Wisconsin have met on the biggest stage in the sport in recent years, with Lambeau Field being the latest. The teams have faced off in the last four national championship games and have met 17 times in the last three years as the top two teams in the country. The meeting at Lambeau Field marks the second time in three seasons the two programs will play outdoors. The Buckeyes and Badgers played at Wrigley Field in 2025, with Ohio State earning the extra conference point in a seven-round shootout victory.
The 2026-27 Buckeyes
The 2026-27 Ohio State women's hockey team features 16 returning players from last season's WCHA Final Faceoff and national runner up team, including five Olympians in Finland's Sanni Vanhanen, Sweden's Mira Jungaker, Jenna Raunio and Hilda Svensson, and Team USA gold medalist Joy Dunne. Svensson, the 2026 HCA Rookie of the Year, was the team's leading point scorer last year and Dunne led the team in goals. Overall, seven of the Buckeyes' top 10 point producers are back this season.
In addition to its strong corps of returners, Ohio State welcomes eight newcomers to the roster. The team adds veteran transfers Rylee Bartz, Ellah Hause and Sydney Sawyer, 2026 IIHF U18 Women's World Championships silver medalists for Canada – Rowan Houweling, Alida Korte, Hayley McDonald and Kate Viel, and Slovakian senior national team member Ema Tothova.
The Buckeyes are led by 11th-year head coach Nadine Muzerall, associate head coach Jack Johnson and assistant coaches Kelsey Cline and Logan Davis.
