- Made 20 relief appearances on the mound and picked up one win and one save
- Finished the season with an ERA of 4.82

2022 (Freshman)Â
- Worked his way into a prominent role out of the Buckeye bullpen as a freshman, appearing in many high-leverage situations. Â
- Appeared in 25 games, striking out 31 batters across 28.2 innings with a 4.71 ERA and 2-2 record.Â
- In his first career appearance, Johnson pitched two scoreless innings and struck out two in the dramatic 9-8 comeback victory over Indiana State on February 20. Â
- In 2.1 innings across two appearances at Texas State, Johnson allowed no runs and struck out four batters.Â
- A 3.1 inning spot on March 6 , his longest of the year, saw him blank the Army lineup while striking out four. Â
- Struck out three batters and allowed no runs in a 2.1 inning appearance at UNCW on March 17. Â
- Pitched 2.2 scoreless innings in the 7-5 win over Wright State on March 22.Â
- Tossed a scoreless frame against Nebraska on April 1.Â
- Picked up wins in back-to-back games against YSU on April 5 and MSU on April 9 with impressive four-out appearances. Â
- Threw 1.2 scoreless innings against Marshall on April 19.Â
- Did not allow a hit in back-to-back appearances on May 4 at Kent State and May 8 at Northwestern.Â
