COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 10 Ohio State women's volleyball team (20-9, 15-5 B1G) makes its third-consecutive NCAA regional appearance this week, traveling to top-seeded Texas.
The Buckeyes will face second-seeded Minnesota in the regional semifinals on Thursday at noon ET with the winner advancing to Saturday's regional finals against the winner of top-seeded Texas vs. fourth-seeded Marquette. Thursday's match will be broadcast on ESPN2.
- Ohio State holds a 21-9 overall record after earning a sweep (25-21, 25-17, 25-16) against six-seeded USC in the NCAA second round, hosted in Covelli.
- The Buckeyes earned a No. 3 seed in the tournament with the top eight teams in each region being seeded this season, making their 25th NCAA Tournament appearance. This is Ohio State's third-consecutive regional semifinal appearance and 19th overall.
- Emily Londot was named AVCA Northeast Player of the Year and was joined on the AVCA All-Region Team by Kylie Murr and Mac Podraza. Gabby Gonzales received an honorable mention.
- Murr was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and Podraza the Big Ten Setter of the Year following the conclusion of the regular season, both being the first in program history to win their respective awards.
- Ohio State had the sixth-highest average home attendance during the regular season (3,680), just 20 shy of a sell-out.
- Minnesota enters the match with a 22-8 overall record and is on a five-match win streak.
- This is Minnesota's 27th NCAA Tournament appearance and holds a 61-26 all-time record in the tournament.

- The Eagles fell to No. 15 Creighton in the Big East Championship match in five sets (25-16, 20-25, 18-25, 22-21, 12-15).
- Marquette earned back-to-back sweeps to begin the NCAA Tournament, beating Ball State in the first round and fifth-seed Georgia Tech in the second round to advance to the program's second regional appearance.

- Last season, Texas fell to Nebraska in the regional finals after sweeping Sacred Heart and Rice in the first and second rounds and winning in five sets against Washington in the regional semifinals.
- The Longhorns are making their 17th-consecutive NCAA regional semifinal appearance – the program's 39th overall NCAA Tournament appearance. Texas is 106-36 all-time in the tournament.
