Ohio State Concludes 2025 Schedule on Road

The Buckeyes travel to Iowa and Nebraska this Friday and Saturday to wrap up the 2025 season.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (6-20, 3-15 B1G) travels to Iowa (14-16, 5-13 B1G) and No. 1 Nebraska (28-0, 18-0 B1G) this weekend to wrap up the 2025 season. The Buckeyes face the Hawkeyes on Friday at 7 p.m. ET in a match broadcast live on B1G+. Ohio State then goes to No. 1 Nebraska on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET in a match broadcast live on BTN.

- Ohio State is 6-20 overall this season and 3-15 in Big Ten play after falling to Northwestern (15-25, 27-25, 23-25, 22-25) and beating Michigan State (25-15, 24-26, 28-26, 25-18) last weekend.
- The Buckeyes saw balance in the match against the Wildcats with four players recording 10 or more kills apiece - Hannah Jones (15), Ashley Carr (12, tied career-high), Na'Vea Gauthier (11) and Kaia Castle (10). Olivia Hasbrook (20) and Mia Tuman (19) led the team in digs and Tuman added 45 assists for a double-double.
- Ohio State earned a team win against Michigan State on senior day with Hannah Jones (22), Na'Vea Gauthier (15, tied career-high) and Kaia Castle (10) each totaling at least 10 kills and Olivia Hasbrook (19), Jones (12, career-high), Reese Wuebker (11) and Mia Tuman (11) each having at least 10 digs.
- Iowa holds a 14-16 overall record this season and is 5-13 in conference play.
- The Hawkeyes' conference wins include Maryland, Michigan State, Rutgers, Illinois and Northwestern. Iowa will face Penn State in the season finale on Saturday.
- Milana Moisio ranks sixth in the league with 3.53 digs/set. Hannah Whittingstall is top 10 in the Big Ten in blocks/set (1.17).
- Ohio State leads 71-8 in the all-time series against Iowa. The Buckeyes are 31-4 when facing the Hawkeyes on the road.
- Last season, the Buckeyes earned a sweep (25-21, 25-16, 25-23) at home against the Hawkeyes on Halloween. Hasbrook led the match with 12 digs.
- No. 1 Nebraska enters the weekend as the lone unbeaten Division I team in the country. The Huskers are a perfect 28-0 this season and 18-0 in Big Ten matches. Nebraska is scheduled to host Penn State on Friday.
- The Huskers have dropped only one set during conference play (to UCLA on Nov. 14) and seven sets all season.
- Bergen Reilly ranks fifth in the Big Ten with 10.38 assists/set. Rebekah Allick and Manaia Ogbechie rank fourth and sixth, respectively, in the conference in blocks/set.
- Ohio State trails 10-19 in the all-time series against Nebraska and 5-8 when facing the Huskers in Lincoln.
- Last season, the Buckeyes fell to the No. 2 Huskers (18-25, 18-25, 16-25) at home on Oct. 19. Hasbrook and Tuman led the team with eight digs apiece.
