COLUMBUS, Ohio – With the doubles point and three straight-set singles wins, the No. 9 Ohio State women's tennis team topped Rutgers, 4-0, Saturday in Piscataway, N.J. Kolie Allen and Danielle Willson won in both singles and doubles for the Buckeyes, Syndi Ratliff notched a singles win and Isabelle Boulais and Lucia Marzal posted a doubles victory for the Scarlet and Gray.
Ohio State improves to 17-6 on the year and is 9-1 in Big Ten action. Rutgers fell to 9-11 (1-9 B1G). The win clinched a Top 3 finish for the Buckeyes in the Big Ten standings and a double bye in the Big Ten Tournament.

In Doubles
- With a win on court two, Ohio State clinched the doubles point.
- The court three tandem of Isabelle Boulais and Lucia Marzal dropped just one game against Minchae Kim and Mai Nguyen.
- The Scarlet Knights answered, as they won 6-1 on court one, with Amira Badawi and Tara Chilton topping Buckeyes Irina Cantos Siemers and Sydni Ratliff.
- On court two, Kolie Allen and Danielle Willson came from behind to defeat Jackeline Lopez and Arina Valitova, 6-4. The Buckeyes were down 3-1 but won the next three games to go ahead 4-3 and did not trail again. Allen and Willson are a team-best 12-3 this spring.
In Singles
- Ohio State captured five of six first sets and the first three completed matches for the team victory.
- Kolie Allen dropped just two games on court four to top Mai Nguyen, 6-0, 6-2.
- On court five, Danielle Willson was a 6-3, 6-0 winner against Daira Cardenas.
- Sydni Ratliff clinched the victory on court one. The No. 36-ranked Buckeye won the first set 6-3 and lost just a single game in the second.
- The other courts were abandoned. Lucia Marzal was up a set and ahead in the second on court three. Akanksha Bhan was headed to a third set on court six, as she won the first and lost the second. On court two, Isabelle Boulais won the second set to force a third, but was down a break early when play was called.
- Willson is 8-0 in dual matches this spring, Allen is 10-7 and Ratliff is 9-6.
