The Buckeyes won the men’s 4x100m and 4x400m relays today in Philadelphia.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team competed at the Penn Relays and Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational this weekend.

On a rainy third and final day in Philadelphia, Pa., the Buckeyes made out with a pair of men's relay titles. Nazzio John, Kyler Brown, Nick Biega and Braxton Brann secured Ohio State's first title in the College Men's 4x100 Championship of America since 1932, crossing the line in 39.56. In the College Men's 4x400m Championship of America, Edidiong Udo, Noah Carmichael, Mason Louis and Brann out-leaned Texas A&M at the line to finish in 3:05.85, coming away with the title by a tenth of a second.

At the Jim Freeman/Clarke Wood Invitational in Louisville, Ky., Morgan Hallett earned a win in the division A women's discus competition with a career-best mark of 54.82m/179'10".

The Buckeyes will be back in action next weekend when they host the Jesse Owens Track and Field Classic at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

College Women's 4x100m Championship of America: The Buckeyes placed sixth with a time of 45:40.
College Men's 4x100m Championship of America: John, Brown, Biega and Brann won the event with a time of 39.56.
College Women's 4x400m Championship of America: Ohio State crossed the line in 3:33.81, placing second.
College Men's 4x400m Championship of America: Udo, Carmichael, Louis and Brann placed first with a time of 3:05.85.

Women's 100m: Laila Campbell earned a spot in Saturday's final with a time of 11.59.
Men's 100m: Brown (10.27) and John (10.30) will both race in the event final.

Men's 110m Hurdles Heats: Brann won his heat and qualified for the event final with a time of 13.76.
Women's 4x100m Heats: Sydney Bryant, Campbell, Laila Hackett and Michaela McCall qualified for Saturday's final with a time of 44.23.
Men's 4x100m Heats: John, Brown, Biega and Marcus Brown Jr. claimed their spot in Saturday's final with a 39.59.
Women's 4x400m Heats: Kiara Webb, Tianna Spinks, Campbell and Avery Clark recorded a time of 3:35.82 to qualify for the final.
Men's 4x400m Heats: Carmichael, Louis, Michael Middleton and Damon Frabotta qualified for Saturday's final after crossing the line in 3:07.00.
Women's Sprint Medley Relay: Powell, Bryant, Tatum Lynn and Naomi Clarke placed sixth after finishing in 3:51.99.
Men's Sprint Medley Relay: Biega, Dominic Calhoun, Udo and Jaxson Eckert finished third with a time of 3:21.12.

Thursday, April 23

Women's 400m Hurdles: Clark finished third with a PB time of 57.71.
Men's 400m Hurdles: Frabotta won his heat with a time of 51.46, placing eighth overall.
Women's 1500m: Aniya Mosley took second place with a time of 4:12.14.
Men's 5000m: Kevin Agnew earned a PB after crossing the line in 14:12.96.

Women's Discus (Div. A): Hallett registered a PB mark of 54.82m/179'10" to win the competition, while Kamille Smith earned a PB of her own (46.59m/152'10") and placed fifth.
Men's Discus (Div. A): Jack Knpake took fourth with a distance of 49.83m/163'06", while Lawson Maag recorded a mark of 47.56m/156'00" on his first attempt of the day and placed fourth.
Women's Pole Vault Championship: Sophie Fong earned a second-place finish after clearing a height of 4.05m/13'3.5".
Men's Triple Jump Championship: Ibrahim Khairat registered a distance of 14.70m/48'2.75" on his first jump of the day for an eighth-place finish.

Friday, April 24

Women's Shot Put (Div. A): Hallett tied her PB with a mark of 15.45m/50'8.25" and placed third, while Smith recorded a distance of 14.65m/48'0.75" and finished eighth.
Men's Long Jump: Brian Kellon placed sixth with a jump that measured 7.04m/23'1.25".
Women's Pole Vault: Nicole Grimes earned a third-place finish after clearing 3.90m/12'9.50".

Thursday, April 23

Women's Hammer Throw (Div. A): Sophie Bidwell recorded a PB mark of 58.94m/193'04", earning a first-place finish. Hallett placed third with a distance of 54.47m/178'08", recorded on her first attempt of the day.
Men's Hammer Throw (Div. A): Knapke placed fifth with a distance of 58.09m/190'7".
