
Ohio State Welcomes Maryland to Bill Davis Stadium

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team (14-13, 4-5 Big Ten) continues its nine-game home stand as the Buckeyes welcome Maryland (13-15, 2-7 Big Ten) to Bill Davis Stadium for a three-game series this weekend.

- This weekend is Family Weekend at Bill Davis Stadium. Friday will feature a food truck and games on the concourse, weather permitting. Saturday will is Pups at the Park. More information can be found HERE. Sunday will feature an in-game Easter egg hunt and postgame player card giveaway, meet and greet and kids run the bases.
- Loge box seats are on sale now, featuring premium comfort, prime views, and the convenience of mobile delivery from the concession stand. Loge box tickets can be purchased HERE.
- All three games will stream live on B1G+.
- Fans can purchase single game tickets HERE or on the TicketMaster app. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket office at the Schottenstein Center or at Bill Davis Stadium on gameday. The ticket office will open 60 minutes prior to the start of each game. Students can get in for free with their BuckID.
- Free parking will be available in the lots surrounding Bill Davis Stadium.
- The Buckeyes picked up their fourth straight win as they defeated Toledo, 10-5, at Bill Davis Stadium on Tuesday night.
- Henry Kaczmar and Lee Ellis led the Buckeyes in hits with two each.
- Alex Bemis had a team-high three RBIs.
- Ellis and Miles Vandenheuvel led the team in stolen bases with two each. The Buckeyes swiped six bags overall during the game.
- Jake Michalak (4-0) earned the win on the mound. He struck out one and gave up two runs on two hits in 2.0 innings pitched.
- Starter Ryan Butler and Andrew Edrington each fanned three.
- Kaczmar is on a 15-game hitting streak. He leads the Buckeyes at the plate, batting .336 and he has a team-high 37 hits.
- Mason Eckelman leads the team in RBIs with 33. He is batting .303 with 30 hits.
- Noah Furcht and Bemis lead the team in runs scored with 24 each.
- Eckelman, Bemis and Dane Harvey lead the Buckeyes in home runs with five each.
- Ellis leads the Buckeyes in stolen bases; he has swiped nine bags on 10 attempts.
- On the mound, Gavin Kuzniewski (2-1) leads the pitching staff with 41 strikeouts in 35.2 innings pitched.
- Chris Domke (3-3) has fanned 37 in 33.0 innings tossed.
- Utility player Brayden Martin leads the Terrapins at the dish; he is batting .381. He leads the team in hits with 43, runs scored with 31 and is 10-for-10 in stolen bases.
- First baseman Ryan Costello leads the team in RBIs with 34.
- Catcher Rylen Stockton (.330) and outfielder Jordan Crosland (.329) are also batting over .300 for Maryland.
- On the mound, Lance Williams (1-3) leads the Terrapin pitching staff with 39 strikeouts in 35.1 innings pitched.
- The Buckeyes host Bowling Green on Tuesday, April 7 at 6 p.m. and then welcome Penn State for a three-game series Friday, April 10-Sunday, April 12.
