COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State will head to the Hoosier Collegiate this weekend as the final regular season tune-up before the Big Ten Championship in two weeks. The first two rounds will be played on Saturday, April 18 and the final round will be on Sunday, April 19. There will be a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. both days.
- Ohio State’s scoring lineup this week will be Giedrius Mackelis, Jack Vojtko, Vaughn Harber, Tyler Sabo, and Timotej Formanek. Finley Bartlett will play as an individual.
- The Buckeyes are coming off a runner-up finish at the Robert Kepler Invitational last weekend at the Columbus, Country Club. Six Buckeyes finished in the Top 20.
- Mackelis, who played as an individual last week at the Kepler, led the group as he enjoyed the best tournament of his young career. He led the tournament in the final round, ultimately finishing in third place at 7-under par.
- Vojtko book-ended his tournament last week with rounds of 4-under 68 and finished eighth at 6-under par. Harber was a shot behind him at 5-under par following back-to-back rounds of 69.
- Sabo was the only Buckeye with three under-par rounds last weekend as he matched Harber at 5-udner par with rounds of 70-70-71. Formanek had three rounds at par of better as he was 4-under following rounds of 72-72-68.
- Bartlett played well as an individual last week as well. He carded rounds of 72-70-71 to finish at 3-under par. He made a pair of eagles in the final round.
- The Big Ten Tournament is coming up in two week, May 1-3, at Pumpkin Ridge in North Plains, Ore.
- Rain is in the forecast for Saturday morning in Bloomington but the rest of the weekend looks favorable.
