
Buckeyes Complete Regular Season With 8th Place Finish at Hoosier Collegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team completed the regular season this weekend with an eighth-place finish at the Hoosier Collegiate, played at the Pfau Course in Bloomington, Ind.
Tyler Sabo led six Buckeyes in action this week with a 22nd place finish at 10-over following rounds of 75-75-73.
Vaughn Harber had one of the best rounds on a tough Sunday, finishing with a 1-over 72 that included 17 pars and just one bogey. He finished 28th at 12-over par.
Freshman Giedrius Mackelis sandwiched a second round 72 with a pair of 77s to finish 30th at 13-over par. Jack Vojtko and Finley Bartlett each finished at 15-over and Timotej Formanek rounded out the group at 21-over par.
As a team, the Buckeyes carded rounds of 300-303-297 and finished in eighth place in the 15-team field.
The Buckeyes will head to North Plains, Ore., in a couple of weeks for the Big Ten Championship at Pumpkin Ridge. Th 54-hole tournament will run May 1-3.
