Ohio State hit four home runs, including an inside the parker

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State softball (21-21) took a 9-1, run rule victory over the Pitt Panthers (21-21) at Buckeye Field. The offense generated seven of its runs via the long ball.

Both Skylar Limon and Izzy Neal went 2-2 at the dish, with Neal legging out an inside the park home run. Abbie Wilhelm, Kiki Estrada, and Emma Tolley all went yard, with Estrada driving in three runs. Wilhelm's homer, her 19^th of the season, solidified her for most on the roster and tied her with Sam Marder and Alex Bayne for sixth most in a single season in program history.

Jenna Molk picked up her 15^th win of the season, tossing four innings and striking out six. Lorin Boutte struck out two in her inning of relief.

How it Happened, 5 inn.

Pitt took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning that scored Tieley Vaughn.
Ohio State retook a 4-1 lead with two home runs in the bottom of the first, a solo shot by Abbie Wilhelm and a towering three-run blast by Kiki Estrada.
The Buckeyes added another run on a Sami Bewick sac fly that scored Izzy Neal.
Emma Tolley launched a home run of her own, a two-run shot to left that scored Estrada. Neal then scored standing with an inside the park home run, with Skylar Limon scoring on a wild pitch to give Ohio State the 9-1 lead through three innings.
Jenna Molk (15-12) got the start and the win, allowing one earned run through four innings while striking out six. Lorin Boutte dealt the final inning in relief, striking out two of three. Bekah Duck (3-7) got the start and the loss for Pitt.
