Ohio State Heads to Champaign for 2026 NCAA Championships

The Buckeyes will compete in the first qualifying session on Friday at 2 p.m. ET and the finals will take place on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 5 Ohio State men's gymnastics team (10-7, 3-1 B1G) travels to Champaign to compete in the 2026 NCAA Championships on Friday and Saturday.

Friday's qualifying sessions are at 2 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Saturday's finals are scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN2. More information about the NCAA Championships can be found HERE.

- The Buckeyes enter the NCAA Championships with a 10-7 overall record and a 3-1 mark in conference meets. Ohio State will compete in the first qualifying session on Friday as the No. 5 seed. Other teams in the session include No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 Nebraska, No. 8 California, No. 9 Greenville and No. 12 Springfield.
- Ohio State finished second in the Big Ten during the regular season and was fourth at the Big Ten Championships with a team score of 314.800.
- Chase Davenport-Mills captured the Big Ten floor title with a score of 13.825 and earned a spot on the All-Big Ten First Team. David Ramirez joined Davenport-Mills on the first team by finishing fourth in the all-around competition (76.400).
- Jacob Harmon and Parker Thackston earned their spots on the All-Big Ten Second Team. Harmon was the runner-up on floor (13.750), while Thackston was the runner-up on pommel horse (14.625).
- Thackston was named Big Ten Specialist of the Year and Jesse Pakele was named a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree. Â
- Ramirez (vault, parallel bars) and Thackston (pommel horse) earned regular season All-American honors from the College Gymnastics Association for finishing in the top eight nationally in their respective events.
- Ohio State gymnasts earned a combined 21 individual event titles during the regular season with nine different gymnasts winning an event.
- The Buckeyes had 14 named OSU Scholar Athletes this week – Drake Andrews, Justin Ciccone, Peyton Contini, Noah Copeland, Davenport-Mills, Kristian Grahovski, Harmon, Jace Hashimoto, Ramirez, Lukas Ross, Conlan Simpkins, Zach Snyder, Caden Spencer and Thackston.

- Pommel Horse: Thackston (first, 14.794), Grahovski (23rd, 13.450)
