Ohio State Qualifies as a Team for the NCAA Championships

The Buckeyes finished second in today’s qualifying session with a score of 320.294.
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The No. 5 Ohio State men's gymnastics team (14-8, 3-1 B1G) finished second in the first qualifying session with a score of 32.0294 to earn a team spot in the NCAA Championships on Saturday night.

Chase Davenport-Mills finished with the highest score of the session on floor (13.966), while Parker Thackston did the same on pommel horse (14.900) and Kristian Grahovski did so on high bar (13.733). Thackston's 14.900 was the highest score of the session on any event.

How it Happened
Head Coach Rustam Sharipov: "I'm proud of our team for what they accomplished today with a 100 percent hit rate, going 24-of-24. This is a step in the right direction, but the job is not done. It was a great team effort today and now we are shifting our focus to tomorrow night."
