Ohio State ends regular season against Wisconsin and Nebraska
COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 2 Ohio State swept Washington 4-0 and Toledo 7-0 Sunday at the Auer and Ty Tucker Tennis Center's, placing the Buckeyes atop the Big Ten regular-season standings where they are tied with Michigan State at 11-1.
The wins marked the Buckeyes 12th and 13th sweeps of the season at Ty Tucker Tennis Center. Ohio State is now 16-1 at home, they outscored opponents 21-0 Friday and Sunday
The Buckeyes are currently on a 11-game winning streak and own the longest streak in the conference with eight-consecutive wins against Big Ten opponents.
Alex Okonkwo led the Buckeyes with three total wins on the day. He extended his win streak to five in singles competition. Preston Stearns also added two singles wins on the day.
The Buckeyes will conclude the regular season with two Big Ten matches next weekend. On Friday, Ohio State will travel to Madison, Wisconsin to face the Badgers at 4 p.m. before making the trip to Nebraska to face the Cornhuskers Sunday at 1 p.m.

Alexander Bernard and Alex Okonkwo started the day off with a 6-1 win on court two, putting the Buckeyes up 1-0.

On court one, Brandon Carpico and Nikita Filin dropped two games but delivered with a 6-2 win to clinch the doubles point for Ohio State.

Bryce Nakashima and Aidan Kim were up 5-2 when the match was called.

Against Toledo, the Buckeyes only played singles.

The doubles momentum carried into singles as all six Buckeyes earned first-set victories against the Huskies.

Preston Stearns was the first person to grab a singles win after a quick 6-1, 6-1 contest on court two.

On court six, Alexander Bernard won a closer 6-3 set one and then came back to win a 6-1 set two, putting Ohio State up 3-0.

With Washington's fate hanging in the balance, Alex Okonkwo defeated Huskies Brett Pearson 6-3, 6-4 to clinch a 4-0 Buckeye victory.

Aidan Kim, Jack Anthrop and Loren Byers all collected first set wins and were leading in the second set when the match was called.

Ohio State swept Toledo in singles, with all six Buckeyes earning two-set victories, outsourcing the Rockets 73-21 in games.

Loren Byers earned his first win on the day with a 6-1, 6-1 domination on court five.

Jack Anthrop continued Ohio State's success with a 6-2, 6-0 victory himself, putting the Buckeyes up 2-0.

On court three, Alex Okonkwo grabbed his second singles win of the day in a 6-3, 6-1 two-set win.

To clinch the match, JP Day snagged his second dual singles win of the weekend and season on court six, winning 6-2, 6-0, to clinch the victory over the Rockets.

The Buckeyes continued their success in singles with Bryce Nakashima and Preston Stearns finishing off Toledo in two sets each, defeating the Rockets, 6-0.
