COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State softball (19-21) fell to Michigan 11-1 in a six-inning contest. The loss secured the series win for the Wolverines.
The Buckeye offense left five runners on base in the matchup. Hadley Parisien, Sami Bewick, Skylar Limon, and Lottie Landmesser provided the four hits of the day. Parisien's hit, a solo home run to left center in the top of the third inning, gave Ohio State its lone run.
Jenna Molk got the starting nod and the loss. Lorin Boutte tossed 3.1 innings in relief, striking out three without allowing a single earned run. Kennedy Kay pitched the final inning in relief for Ohio State.

- Michigan took a three-run lead in the first inning on run scoring hits by Lauren Putz and Ella Stephenson.
- The Wolverines added four more runs in the bottom of the second inning on another Putz RBI single, a Stephenson RBI double, a bases loaded Maddie Erickson HBP and a bases loaded Kiley Carr walk, giving UM a 7-0 lead.
- Ohio State scored its only run in the top of the third inning on a leadoff home run by Hadley Parisien.
- Michigan shut the door 11-1 in the sixth inning with a Lily Vallimont grand slam.
