COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State is set to host the 54th annual Robert Kepler Invitational this weekend at the Columbus Country Club. The first two rounds will be played on Saturday, April 11 and the final round will be on Sunday, April 12. Tee times begin both days at 7:45 a.m.
- Ohio State’s scoring lineup this week will be Vaughn Harber, Tyler Sabo, Joe Wilson IV, Jack Vojtko and Timotej Formanek. Topher Reed, Jaime Yzaga, Giedrius Mackelis and Finley Bartlett will play as individuals.
- This is the 54th Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. Ohio State has won the team title 26 times. A Buckeye has claimed individual medalist honors 23 times, with Maxwell Moldovan winning most recently in 2022.
- Last year, the Buckeyes won their second tournament in as many weeks as they won the Kepler for the 26th time. Ohio State finished at 24-over, eight shots ahead of Nebraska. Reed, Formanek and Harber all finished in the Top 10 individually.
- Ohio State also won its last event at Columbus Country Club as the Buckeyes won the Buckeye Classic last year, one week ahead of the Kepler. Harber shot rounds of 70-68-72 to finish tied for fourth at 6-under par.
- The Buckeyes are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Linger Longer Invitational last time out two weeks ago. Harber and Wilson IV each finished at 2-under par.
- Harber leads the team in scoring at 71.57 while he and Sabo are tied for the team lead with six rounds in the 60s. Sabo is just behind Sabo in scoring at 71.71.
- Temperatures are expected in the mid-60s on Saturday and mid-80s on Sunday with very little chance of rain either day.
- Admission and parking is free all weekend.
