Get to Know the Newest Buckeyes: Transfers

The Buckeyes welcome four transfers to the roster this spring.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team welcomes four transfers to its ranks for the spring season, covering a variety of positions on the court. Each transfer brings at least one year of collegiate playing experience from their previous institution.

Bella Humphrey is a libero/defensive specialist from Lafayette, Ind. who played the past two seasons at Auburn. As a freshman, she appeared in 27 sets and nine matches, totaling seven aces. As a sophomore this past fall, she appeared in 32 sets and 10 matches, totaling eight digs and four aces. During her career at McCutcheon High School, Humphrey became a member of the 1,000 kill club and 1,000 dig club, also racking up more than 200 aces and 65 blocks. She is an AAU Volleyball Academic All-American and was named to the 2023 JVA Watch List.

Kelly McAuley is an outside hitter from Naples, Fla. who played the fall season at Gonzaga. She accumulated 166 kills across 26 matches this past fall, also tallying 131 digs, 12 aces and averaging 2.31 points per set. McAuley served as team captain her junior and senior years of high school at the Community School of Naples, leading the team through the District 3A playoffs. She was named team offensive MVP three times, Scholar Athlete of the Year three times and earned All-Area First Team honors in 2024. Also as a senior, McAuley was a finalist for the Southwest Florida All-Region Volleyball Player of the Year award and was on the PrepVolleyball Class of 2025 Watch List. She was a member of the math, Spanish and English honor societies.

Kallista (Kali) Ravva is an outside hitter from Cannes, France who played the fall season at Texas Tech. As a freshman, Ravva led the Red Raiders in kills (303), attempts (909) and points (335.5) and was second on the team in digs (222). She started 20 matches and posted a team-high eight double-doubles during the season. Her 13 matches with 10 or more kills led the team as her best performance came against No. 24 Colorado (25 kills, 17 digs in a five-set win). Ravva totaled 20 or more kills in three matches. She played for France in the U21 French Cup, helping her team to a win.

Lauren Wiese is a middle blocker from Bellevue, Wash. Who played the fall season at Baylor. She appeared in three sets and two matches as a freshman, making her collegiate debut on Sept. 4 against Northwestern. She played for Eastside Catholic High School and Sudden Impact VBC, holding the career blocks record at Eastside Catholic. Wiese wrapped up her high school career as the No. 1 ranked player in Washington, won a district playoff and participated in the 2024 UnderArmour Next Camp. The high school captain was named All-Conference First Team twice and earned a spot on the Puget Sound Region All-Star Team in 2022. A two-sport athlete, Wiese was a three-time state championships participant for track & field in the shot put. She was a member of the National Honor Society, American Sign Language Honor Society, honor roll and earned additional awards as 2022 Student of the Year, National Society of High School Scholars, Scholar Athlete and ECHS Excellence in Science and Math.
