
Webb Receives Big Ten Athlete and Freshman of the Week Honors

The redshirt freshman won the women’s 400m at the USF Alumni Invitational last weekend
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kiara Webb was named the Big Ten Women's Track Athlete and Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.
Webb, a transfer from Arizona State, participated in her first collegiate outdoor meet last weekend at the USF Alumni Invitational, competing in the women's 400m and 4x400m relay. The Ontario, Canada native won the 400m with a time of 52.65, a mark that currently ranks as the third best in the country. Webb also ran a leg on the 4x400m relay squad that placed seventh in the event after finishing in 3:45.54.
Webb competed in the women's 400m at the 2026 Big Ten Indoor Championships, where she earned a spot in the event finals after recording a time of 52.97, her best of the indoor season.
