COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 12/11 ranked and No. 3 seeded Ohio State women's basketball team (27-7, 13-5 B1G) hosts No. 22/25 ranked and No. 6 seeded Notre Dame (23-10, 12-6 ACC) on Monday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN and AM1460.

Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN and AM1460.
- The Buckeyes improved to 27-7 this season and 34-29 all-time in the NCAA Tournament with a 75-54 win against No. 14 seed Howard in the first round on Saturday.
- In the first round win against Howard, four Buckeyes scored in double figures - Jaloni Cambridge (21), Chance Gray (11), Kennedy Cambridge (11) and Ava Watson (11). Elsa Lemmilä led the game with 11 rebounds.
- J. Cambridge earned a spot on the All-America Second Team by The Athletic, AP, USBWA and ESPN. She was named to the All-American Third Team by The Sporting News. Cambridge also received an honorable mention from USA Today and is a regional finalist for the WBCA Coaches' All-America Team.
- K. Cambridge was named a semifinalist for Naismith Defensive Player of the Year.
- No. 22/25 Notre Dame enters the NCAA Tournament second round game with a 23-10 overall record.
- The Fighting Irish earned a 79-60 win against No. 11 Fairfield on Saturday in the first round.
- Hannah Hidalgo leads Notre Dame with 25.2 points per game. The All-American was named a semifinalist for both the Naismith Player of the Year and Naismith Defensive Player of the Year awards.
- The Buckeyes and Fighting Irish are two of only 10 teams in the nation to win at least one NCAA Tournament game in each of the last five seasons.
- Ohio State trails 4-1 in the all-time series against Notre Dame. Four of the five games have been decided by seven points or fewer.
- This will be the second meeting between the teams in the NCAA Tournament.
